Suffolk County Police have arrested a former Commack High School English teacher after finding child pornography on his computer.  

New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force had been tipped that Michael Gallagher, 32, of 835 Nesconset Highway, Nesconset, had sent email containing child pornography.    

Police executed a search warrant on March 3, and seized his computer.   Police performed a forensic analysis and found the child pornography on his computer.    Gallagher surrendered to police yesterday at 9:00 a.m. at the Seventh Precinct.  

Gallagher was charged with one count of Possession of Sexual Performance by a Child.   He resigned prior to being arrested.
