| Exploring Nature with Chinese Brush Painting 9:30am-12:30pm at the Environmental Center in Islip. Join the Seatuck Environmental Association for an art workshop that will bring the love of nature together with the ancient watercolor techniques, Asian brushstroke and Chinese calligraphy. Artists of all ages and experience will look at nature with a new perspective. This expressive art form enhances skills and confidence. We'll grind our own ink, learn brush painting technique and enjoy the contemplative aspects of this art form. A fee of $4/members or Green Key Cardholders, $6/nonmembers will apply to all programs at the Suffolk County Environmental Center. Pre-registration is REQUIRED.
