Arthur H. Kunz Memorial Library

The Arthur H. Kunz Memorial Library is a reference library that contains current and historical publications on a wide variety of planning topics. It is located, as designated by the Suffolk County Legislature, within the Planning Department office.
Arthur Kunz began his career with the Nassau County planning department in 1958. He moved to Suffolk's planning department in 1966 and was the department head in from 1989 to 1993. Throughout his career he worked to balance development and the environment in Suffolk County.
